Our idea: To revolutionize the agricultural world through early and precise detection of infested trees. Agrint protects and saves palm trees from the deadly red palm weevil, while eliminating the need for mass use of preventive chemical pesticides
Our technology: A unique seismic sensor that detects the harmful larvae in the tree at the earliest stages of development. Upon detection, the application sends the farmer an alert that pinpoints the infested tree, allowing the farmer to treat only it and save it, thus preventing the spread of the pest to the rest of the trees and improving crop yield.
