Jordanian, Israeli and Palestinian agriculturalists convened in the West Bank town of Beit Jala for the second steering committee meeting of the Cross-Border Pest Management project.
This project aims to establish best practices for the Jordanian, Palestinian and Israeli agricultural communities; to minimize the negative environmental and economic impact of conventional pest control and the use of poisoned bait in open field crops.
This project, generously supported by the European Union, is organized by the Peres Center in cooperation with Tel Aviv University, the Amman Center for Peace and Development, and a Palestinian partner.
