Our idea is the industrial farming of grasshoppers (a kosher insect!) as a protein-rich source of food for humans that is healthier, more efficient and more sustainable.
Our technology makes it possible to raise grasshoppers all year round – even though in nature they are available only four weeks per year; shortening the incubation period for eggs from 40 to 2 weeks; and a cage infrastructure that increases production per unit area tenfold.
