How an idea written on a paper napkin in a pub in London turned into an exit of almost 200M$?
About the lecture:
"Repley" was founded in 2011 in London around the Summer Olympics. It all started in a pub in London where Aviv and his future partners thought they would really like to see the goal in soccer from the goalkeeper's eyes. A few years later, the dream became a reality at the Super Bowl event in Texas where the director gave viewers a look through the quarterback's eyes. "Repley" went against all the odds and managed to introduce a very complex technology into the global sports market. Along the way there were many obstacles to pass and also quite a bit of luck, of course...
The story is accompanied by fascinating photos and films that show the way from a company of 3 people to 350 people today all over the world who are still promoting the same vision.
They say that experience brings wisdom, and indeed it is so. No matter how many degrees you have from the university and how many jobs you work throughout your career, the "roller coaster" of the startup is different, dangerous, exciting and especially rewarding when you succeed. There are many things that can be learned from a serial project and the titles will be counted and demonstrated in the lecture.
"If you follow the same path you will always end up in the same place" (the white rabbit from Alice in Wonderland).
